2.DDoS Protection Advanced (Single IP only)

  • Mechanism: Static (optional dynamic) filtering rules for one IPv4/6

  • Mechanism: Fully tailored mitigation service at network and application level (Layer 3–7)

  • Description:
    This premium tier offers a fully customized mitigation strategy including:

    • Real-time traffic analysis by security engineers

    • Targeted filtering for entire subnets (e.g. /29 or larger)

    • Application-layer (Layer 7) protection for complex attacks such as HTTP floods or slowloris

⚙️ How Activation Works

DDoS protection can be added at the time of order via configurable product options. Existing customers can upgrade their protection level at any time via the Alpenhost Client Portal.
